Anxiety Therapy
Do you feel overwhelmed by stressful thoughts you can’t stop thinking about?
Have you ever thought: “Why can’t I stop worrying?!”. Do your worries make it challenging to stay present? Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of perfectionism, feeling like you’re never quite good enough? Perhaps you’re noticing that you can’t fall asleep, or you’ve lost your appetite, or maybe you have difficulty breathing or concentrating. Maybe it feels like you’ve completely lost control.
Anxiety takes many forms - it can be social anxiety, panic attacks, somatic anxiety (sweating, shaking, difficulty breathing, insomnia, loss of appetite, fluttering chest), generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (obsessions and compulsions), or a specific phobia, to name a few.
Anxiety can also be a very quiet sense of dread, a subtle, pervasive fear that you carry around with you in the form of constant “what ifs”. Fear is an emotional response to a current threat, while anxiety is an anticipation of a future threat.
Good news: you’re ready to create more ease and balance in your life by understanding your internal narrative and learning new ways to cope with difficult thoughts and emotions.
